Eastwind has built a long-term partnership with Turkmenistan’s state operator “Altyn Asyr,” delivering advanced IT solutions across multiple areas, including a billing system. Beyond technology projects, the company’s leadership plays an active role in advancing business relations between Russia and Turkmenistan.

On February 18, Eastwind Director Boris Bubnov and Deputy Sales Director Alexander Panin joined a meeting of the Russia–Turkmenistan Business Council (RTBC). The council’s core mandate is to champion Russian business interests in Turkmenistan and expand the scale of bilateral cooperation.

Drawing on extensive experience in cooperation with Turkmenistan, Boris Bubnov outlined his vision for advancing bilateral relations. The council also explored plans to establish a dedicated consulting center to foster direct connections between business leaders in both countries, responding to clear and mutual interest in partnership.

Until the Council convenes its organizational meeting, it will be headed by Vladimir Padalko, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. He nominated Eastwind Director Boris Bubnov for Deputy Chairman in recognition of his role in advancing Russia–Turkmenistan cooperation in information technology.

Looking ahead, the RTBC plans to focus not only on organizing future business missions to Turkmenistan, but also on coordinating joint celebrations of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and expanding bilateral tourism initiatives.
